THE HUMANE EATING PROJECT
Available for download!
The Humane Eating Project gives you the power to help animals every time you dine out. With this app, you can easily find humane-conscious restaurants and add your voice to the fight against factory farming.
The Humane Eating Project’s restaurant locator displays restaurants that use humanely-raised meat or have vegetarian or vegan menus. Local restaurants are mapped alongside reviews, cost, food type, and other search criteria. The app also shows you Watch List restaurants to avoid. Those restaurants sell veal, foie gras, shark fin, or store live animals on-site.
The Humane Eating Project allows consumers to directly interact with restaurant owners. Each meal becomes a vote for the transition away from factory farmed animal products to humanely-raised foods. It gives consumers power to promote restaurants that are doing the right thing and change those that are not.

The social home for animal advocates.
Hive is a social network that connects animal advocates with events, organizations, and other advocates in their communities. Users can discover animal-related events, follow the organizations they love, and connect with fellow advocates.
America for Animals gives people the power to help animals no matter what side of the border they are on. In Tijuana, Mexico, just 15 miles south of AFA’s home base, cats and dogs suffer in the worst conditions imaginable. Our Compasión campaign empowers advocates in Mexico to help them. With low cost, we are able to make a big impact on hundreds of dogs and cats, and prevent the suffering of thousands in the future.
As a part of this campaign, AFA conducts one-day spay/neuter clinics in Tijuana. The clinics are held in impoverished areas of the city where access to veterinary services is rare or nonexistent. Surgeries are provided at no cost to the pet owner. All citizens are welcome and no one is turned away. At each clinic, AFA provides direct funding, assistance to veterinary technicians, and humane education to pet owners. Since 2013, 968 dogs and cats have spayed and neutered at these clinics, and treated for fleas and tics. Additionally, 465 pet owners have been educated on proper pet care.
